“Trikonasana,” or triangle pose, is one of the most commonly-practiced postures in public yoga classes. Almost every yoga style has some version of this fundamental posture to study, practice, and explore. Like many postures that are considered basic, sometimes we fail to appreciate the nuances that are subtly embedded in the familiar triangle shape. Join Christina for a two-hour foray into Trikonasana through preparatory hip opening, twisting, and stabilizing work. New students will benefit from the step-by-step approach of the class and experienced students will find new depth and understanding to bring to their practice.
