Join Christina Sell for this two-hour workshop focusing on the component parts of one of her favorite postures: “Parivritta Janu Sirsasana,” or Revolved Head-to-Knee Pose. This commonly overlooked pose is a dynamic combination of forward, side, and back bending actions in a deep hip-opening twist. Expect to practice a variety of hip, thigh, and side stretches, as well as twists and heart-opening poses to create new pathways of understanding in and through your body. Known for her masterful sequencing, clear instructions, and inspiring insight, Christina’s classes and workshop incorporate demonstrations, explanations and modifications to help you deepen your practice through hard work, nuanced alignment, self-acceptance, and humor.
This workshop is appropriate for yogis of all levels of practice experience, except for those people recovering from knee or back injuries.
