This session focuses on the core, pelvis, hips, and shoulder girdle. Every arm balance you crave is essentially comprised of other, more fundamental yoga poses (namely forward bends and hip openers) that combine with the core and upper body to create lift off! When we are unclear on what must occur at each region of the body, all too often these poses elude us and we give up, assuming we lack the strength and ability to successfully practice this family of empowering postures. Through awareness, understanding, and a combination of yoga poses and coordination drills, we will explore what is truly needed to create efficacy in and around these poses. Come and empower yourself with the confidence and knowledge to arm balance once and for all!
